Dovetail, Inc., is an independently owned corporation with headquarters in Crystal Lake, Illinois, with services available throughout the United States and Canada. Dovetail is a staff model EAP: most clients are seen by employees, not contractors. All of our employees and Affiliate contractors are experienced, licensed professionals with graduate degrees and over five years postgraduate work experience.
In situations where employers have employees scattered throughout the US in concentrations that do not support a Dovetail employee, Dovetail contracts with individual outpatient counselors and a select group of other Employee Assistance Programs to provide EAP Counseling. We do not accept work from nor do we contract with any EAP that is owned by an insurance company or carves out employer outpatient benefits and reimburses for outpatient care. For this reason, Dovetail EAP does not use the phrase "provider network" to refer to our affiliate counselors.
