Dovetail Employee Assistance Program client services are provided in the real world, not over the Internet. Why?

We firmly believe in the value and effectiveness of human contact in providing our services. Web sites and email are useful ways to exchange general information, but Dovetail does not provide "telephone counseling" or "telephone assessments" because we believe that makes about as much sense as phoning in a physical examination to your physician. Some things people need to do in person.

* Web sites are impersonal and EAP services should be personal.

* The internet is not confidential and EAP services should ALWAYS be confidential.

* Use of a web site is discriminatory: it is limited to people who have internet access. All Dovetail services are freely available to employees and family members in the home - whether or not they have a computer and internet connection.

* A web site can't respond with sensitivity to things that make you who you are: your faith, your ethnicity, your culture, your lifestyle, and your values. Personal contact with Dovetail's EAP counselors ensures that we know who you are. We believe that these things matter.

A personal, confidential, professional, and nondiscriminatory Employee Assistance Program that is sensitive to who you are provides the most effective service. To access client services, call 888-275-3683 or 888-ASK-DOVE.
