YOU CAN STILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Help Hurricane Victims Rebuild
On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit land for a second time and visited Mississippi and Louisiana with winds of 140 mph. Winds and flooding damaged or destroyed the homes of thousands of people. We know some of these people: Dovetail serves employees and families in places like Gulfport and New Orleans. On September 24, 2005, Hurricane Rita hit the Louisiana/Texas border causing further damage to the Gulf Coast, displacing new victims and causing victims of Katrina who had moved to Texas for shelter to move again. Our hearts go out to them because their time of need continues today. The people of the Gulf Coast did not get the help they needed then, and many still have not been able to return or rebuild their lives.
If you survived such a storm - and not everyone did - what would you do? You'd rebuild. But you couldn't do it without help. You can help.
